Certscan is a tool that opens a TLS connection to the hostname you provide and reports the certificate chain the server presents. You may use it on any hostname you have the authority to inspect.
The tool is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The certificate information returned is what the server presents at the moment of the check — it is not a substitute for a professional security audit.
In no event shall the operator of this tool be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from your use of the service. Because no hostname is stored and no account exists, the tool has no mechanism to assert liability against any user.
Current status: Certscan is entirely free to use. No payment is required, no subscription exists, and no billing information is collected or stored by this website.
What you buy: At present, nothing — the service costs nothing. You paste a hostname and receive a plain-language certificate report. There is no paid tier, no usage cap, and no account to maintain.
If paid tiers are introduced: This section will be updated with the applicable prices, billing periods (monthly or annual), retry logic for failed payments, and refund policy. Existing users will be notified through an update to this page.
No payment processor connected: Because the service is free today, no payment processor is connected to this website. No credit card details, bank account numbers, or other payment information passes through Certscan's infrastructure. Any future checkout page will be clearly labelled as a demo until a payment processor is connected and operational.
These terms may be updated when the owner supplies legal registration details, a governing jurisdiction, and a contact address. At present no mailbox is available to notify users of changes; continued use of the tool constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
